Where many studios focus on schedules, we focus on people. Our belief is simple: exceptional teachers create exceptional experiences.

We seek out accomplished, authentic instructors who bring depth and heart to Boulder's yoga scene, then give them:

• Fair compensation

• Full support building their offerings inside and outside our walls (workshops, trainings, privates, retreats, all of it)

This isn't the norm in yoga studios: encouraging teachers to promote their outside offerings, celebrating when they build their own brands as independent contractors.

We think building something for the teacher rather than the student will attract the best teachers, which means BYS students get an incredible selection of offerings.

Here's what we know:

Yoga teachers are skilled practitioners with gifts to share beyond a single studio's walls. They should be able to promote themselves, grow their entire practice, and be seen for the artists and healers they are.

When teachers have room to grow and continue their own studentship, the whole yoga ecosystem flourishes.
