Steph Trinidad
Steph loves inspiring students through dynamic yoga flows, stories of based on Hindu mythology, and heart-opening chanting. Her classes are creative, fun, and challenging, and bring people together with a deeper sense of community and connection.
Steph discovered yoga while training for ultra marathons. The obstacles she faced on the trail were no different than those she faced on her mat, and the rewards were just as memorable. She wanted to help others realize their potential without having to run 100 miles!
A retired ultra runner, Steph now enjoys the freedom she feels flying like a bird through the sky in her wing suit. She is a trauma survivor from a near-fatal BASE jumping wall strike at Mt. Blue Sky. The recovery process took years, but not without its glimmers. Steph studied to become a therapist and brainspotting certified for trauma, and she feels stronger and more empowered than ever. Because she is a trauma-informed counselor, Steph uses many polyvagal techniques to help students experience a deeper sense of peace, calm, and relaxation with vagus nerve toning.
When not counseling or teaching yoga, you will find Steph on the trails with her dogs Boogie Woogie and Can You Diggit, or flying out of airplanes!
