Skylar Stetten

Skylar’s classes blend structure with flow, combining classic Pilates technique with creative, contemporary movement. Her teaching style is grounded, detail-oriented, and quietly energizing—guiding you to move with precision, awareness, and ease.

A former marathon runner, Skylar now teaches mat Pilates, barre, yoga, and meditation. Her classes are upbeat, welcoming, and set to thoughtfully curated music—often moving to the rhythm to keep things engaging and fun.

Skylar is deeply passionate about health and wellness, with experience studying and teaching in Boulder, San Diego, New York City, Charleston, Bali, Thailand, Costa Rica, and Haiti. Originally from North Carolina, she grew up dancing and playing sports, took her first yoga class at 14, and taught her first aerobics class during her senior year at the College of Charleston.

She discovered her love for Pilates, barre, and meditation while living in New York City, where she began teaching in 2012. Skylar received her 200-hour yoga certification in Thailand in 2014 and has trained in Vedic meditation with Thom Knoles in New York and Nicho Plowman in India.

Outside the studio, Skylar is the owner and lead photographer of Stetten Wilson, where she captures luxury destination weddings, interiors, and commercial work around the world. She believes life is most meaningful when it’s in service to others and is grateful to be part of the Boulder Yoga Studio community.
