Bridget Ryan

Bridget is a trauma-sensitive E-RYT 200 and has been drawn to movement modalities for the greater part of her life. Coming from a background in dance, she is passionate about honoring the body as a source of innate wisdom and exploring movement practices that foster greater sustainability and freedom. She completed her trauma-sensitive 200-hour training with Soulwork and the Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate program through The Embody Lab.

Bridget values the practice of asana as a way of coming back home to the body, directing attention, and carving out space to slow down. She hopes to support students in realigning with themselves on every layer and in nurturing greater ease and capacity for how they navigate life. She weaves trauma-sensitive principles and the ongoing discoveries of her dance and movement practice into her classes. Her teaching offers an invitation into curiosity, compassion, and a generosity toward oneself.
